We recently discussed the re interpretation of the Volvo P 1800 by Cyan or the modern alpine A 110. But it seems that is a new trend.
Here are some examples which are with some discussions and thoughts.
The 911 DLS by Singer is one of the most famous:
What about the 914 by Fifteen Eleven? It is an electric one, at the contrary of the Singer.
My heart clearly goes for the Singer, here, and not only because it is not an electric one...
Now let's see the Alfa Giulia GT... Nice, but electric...
And the Spider? Electric, alas... By Garage Italia.
Close to the original, the BMW M3 E30. With a bigger engine ( 2, 5 L instead of 2, 3) and the addition of a turbo, this car has much more power, with 390 HP.
And last but not least, the David Browne by Speedback. An interpretation based on a Jaguar XK. The Purist may not appreciate, I find it superb, even if it lost the purity of the original, but it is, at least for me, eye catching.
On another note, what about this VW Minibus electric?
What do you think? A good idea or a sacrilege?
Best,
Nicolas
