Celebrating 40 With a Good Cause
I never thought that turning 40 would be a big deal. It's just a number and I certainly don't feel like I have four decades of real living and learning under my belt. After all, I have yet to form a retirement plan, occasionally shop at Forever 21 and shamelessly admit that I still get carded from time to time. It's not that I'm in denial. I'm proud to tell people that I'm 40. I just think I'm living slower than I'm aging, numerically.
40 didn't become a big deal until I noticed what a big deal others seem to make it. So perhaps when others have already purchased their first home or second and third, I am just making my first Bulgari purchase. And a notable one it was - Bulgari's Save the Children Ring in silver and black ceramic. The redesigned B.Zero1 ring has a sleek and modern design consisting of a band of polished black ceramic between two thin bands of silver. The two edges of the ring both feature the engraved BVLGARI-BVLGARI logo. Visible on the inside of the ring is the red "Save the Children" logo and engraving.
The ring symbolizes Bulgari's commitment to Save the Children. It is priced at $420, $90 of which is donated to Save the Children to help support key education programs worldwide. Commemorating an important birthday and supporting a good cause at the same time...I am extremely happy with my new ring!
