The Omega CK 2913 is a significant early example from the brand's professional series, distinguished by its robust construction and focus on specific functional requirements. It represents a foundational piece in a lineage of watches designed for demanding environments, emphasizing legibility and durability. This reference is part of a trio of professional tool watches introduced concurrently, each tailored for different specialized applications, and it stands out for its particular design elements that cater to its intended purpose.
This reference typically features a stainless steel case, designed for resilience. It houses a manual-winding mechanical movement, known for its reliability and precision. I acquired very few watches last year: just one Breguet, one JLC and three Pateks. In addition to that Darja got one JLC plus one Patek which she will get to her wrist only on her birthday on 1st May. But in eurozone we live difficult times and must be very modest. Best, Kari

My year in term of horological inspiration is definitely marked by the discovery of 3- 4 vintage Longines. That chronograph with mushroom pushers is out of this world. Makes me think that Longines in terms of modern production is a hell of an under-achiever these days... My year can be summarized in 8 short lines (All w
