I have no experience of the Panoreserve, so I can't really compare. But I find the Lange 1 absolutely mesmerizing both from the dialside and the movementside. I am sure you will not regret that choise, if that is what you end up with.
Well, even with money as an issue, still the Lange 1. Since if money is a non-issue, would get both.

I'm not aware of direct comparisons out there because it isn't very comparable. It is known ALS would have much better finishing. And one thing for sure ALS will also hold its value better (assuming you're not paying a premium to obtain yours).
Lange has clear perfect design language, character and harmony VS GO which sometimes confusing as if it is a mixed of different characters and aesthetics
Lange und Söhne combines several finishing techniques which are often done by hand (in this case the Panoreserve too) But, in the town of Glashütte the rule is excellency first, any watch produced in Glashütte is a representative of the Glashütte’s spirit. One company is often ahead of the others, Lange also benefited form its Suisse experiences, giving the lead, however it is often caught up by others.
