Mahesh's original post offers an intimate look at the AkriviA AK-06, showcasing its intricate details through exceptional photography. His focus on the interplay of light on the dial's varied finishes and the painstaking hand-finishing of the movement provides a rare glimpse into the artistry of independent watchmaking. This article delves into the nuances that make the AK-06 a horological marvel, as highlighted by mahesh and the WatchProSite community.

I enjoy the way light reflects on the different surface finish on the dial side...

Nothing to add, what you see is hand-engraving of numerals and the name !

Finishing all over the movement are painstakingly done....those anglage, mirror polishes - worth carrying a loupe always !

All photos taken by @Charles-Hadrien an young watch collector who'll join our community very soon !

Best,
mahesh.,

Not an owner, but thrilled nonetheless. It is a unique design that seems to incredibly blend old school and classic with modern. I just love it. Thanks for sharing the superb photos by Charles!

Here’s mine in titanium taken by another talented photographer James (@waitlisted on instagram). Here we can see some interesting differences among the ak06 siblings. For example, the AkriviA engraving is much bolder on your example than mine. A lot more details to appreciate for sure!
