Akrivia means precision and I was inspired by Watchonthewrist and mdg to create this post.  I realized that I never posted the two here, together.  Well, where do I begin?!?!?  I will try to be brief.  I saw the Hour Minute and my jaw dropped!  It is simply a gorgeous piece.  It’s 43mm, but it doesn’t feel like it.  I love the way it sits on my wrist.  The hand-hammered dial you all are familiar with.  The finishing is...well it’s Rexhep although I could see his improvement on the AK-06.  That being said, the finishing on the steel carriage of the tourbillon is eye-catching.  The movement is not in-house as it is originally a BNB-MHC movement that is modified by Akrivia and Rexhep once worked at BNB.  I can continue to rave about this piece, but I would likely be telling you much of what you already know.

Now, the AK-06...must I say anymore?  It is slightly smaller (41mm and height is 3mm shorter) and it’s fit is perfect!  You can see this in the photos as I tried to give you an idea.  As far as the finishing, I can see a slight increase in the level of finishing versus the Hour Minute—taking nothing away from the HM.  These pieces are what makes this hobby of ours so great!  I just missed the original Chronometre Contemporain and that would have completed an awesome trifecta.  Enough talk—here are the photographs!

Yes, the Regulateur. That’s a great piece as well. As you mentioned, for the size of the watch, it fits wells and you don’t “feel” the size.

I don't remember the metal...

...could it have been titanium? It was either really light or super-balanced...

I believe titanium may have been an option for the Regulateur. Most were stainless.

wow...great pair !

congratulations sir & enjoy it in your best health !! the tourbillon is a cool one, the case design actually brings great level of movement depth to the tourbillon cage when seen in metal. AK06, no doubt is a star in its own right...it shares the same movement as CC1 - it is interesting to see the same movement takes absolutely two different sensibilities of timepieces ! Best, mahesh.,

Thanks Mahesh! You are right about the tourbillon and the case design. Honestly, I stare at the polishing and the finishing of the cage more so that the hand hammered dial.
