Aquaracer1's recent post, 'Analysis Paralysis,' resonates with many collectors who find themselves overwhelmed by choice when selecting a watch from their personal collection. This common dilemma prompts a deeper look into the psychology of collecting and the practicalities of curating a rotation. Aquaracer1's query sparks a lively discussion on managing watch collections, offering diverse perspectives on downsizing, expanding, and finding personal balance.

I don’t have this issue because my collection is extra small but I think I will change every 2 weeks to give them all some wrist time.
This has lasted for 3 years. And... well... I have restarted to buy watches. 😬 The last one will come next wednesday. Your collection is very nice. For me you could sell two of the three divers. 🤔
Mainly I have a struggle with clothes every day. What do I want to wear? What kind of laundry load will need to be done soon? But with watches... Normally I narrow it down to three choices.
Then upsize!! Nice collection. If it were me: Lose the Tudor Lose the GP Lose the IWC Buy a single pusher Chrono or Maybe an IWC port Chrono Buy a travel time (folks here like Parmigiani) or gmt. Buy a tool watch (Milgauss?) That would be my personal upgrade.
As I decide on what to wear in conjunction with cloths - and vice versa - I also have more than 6 Polos, Tshirts, Jeans, Cargos etc. 😅 Ps: My 2 watch boxes have place for max 24 watches… 🙈😂
I’d probably go box and papers modern.
