Mark, known as milwatch1 on the forums, delves into the enigmatic world of Argentinian Navy Tudor MilSubs, seeking to uncover truths beyond common knowledge. His inquiry highlights the enduring fascination with military-issued timepieces and the desire for authenticated historical details from fellow collectors. This discussion provides valuable insights for anyone researching the provenance and characteristics of these rare Tudor references.

Hello all. I’m new here and trying to join in and learn. So what better place to ask questions and learn. So here goes.  Argentinian Navy issue Tudor MilSubs. I’ve seen and read the information from Ross Povey which is great but I’m wondering what actual owners and collectors can tell me. How many were issued? Who used them? I’ve read the document that states 612 was with army divers and a 613 assault engineers etc etc. The ones I’ve seen are from the years 1964-67. Are there later models? We’re snowflakes issued? Does anyone know of dealers who could help with information on their history. I have an interest in military watches and am strangely drawn to the Navy and their watches.

What is the experience and thoughts of owners here?

Tudor 7924 ARA ( Armada Republica Argentina ). From 1958. As you can see, it starts with 611... I could see around 10 in the world of net. And only one in the real, this one. Best, Nicolas

I've seen the ARA in pics on the internet. What is the latest year that the Argentinian Navy used Tudor? Did they use 7016 or 9401/0 Submariners? thanks Mark.

Really?? I'd love a 7016 with the Ci engraving.

Didn't see that one! I'll try to give a similar hard life to my BB58 in the next years. Amazing. Thanks Nico
