AllThingsWatches shares an exclusive look at a significant Audemars Piguet Royal Oak 50th Anniversary release, secured as the final US allocation. This article delves into the nuances of this particular reference, exploring its design elements and the broader context of precious metal choices within the Royal Oak collection, as illuminated by community insights.

In my opinion this is the best! Lucky to get the last allocation in the US.

Pieces like this have to clear all sorts of channels to get approved. Thanks to the North American team as well and Francois.

Have a great weekend!

Looks amazing. I hadnt noticed before that the screw heads were not gold, not sure how I feel about it although it adds some contrast.

Is that yellow gold, or just the lighting effect? I thought AP focused on rose gold only.

Would love to see it next time I’m in NYC whenever that is. Get the old crew together for some dinner and drinks.

On any gold Royal oak. I have a gen 1 perpetual and this one. White gold on this one. Not certain of the perpetual. My salmon white gold has matching white gold screws as well. Thank you!

BA designates yellow gold. OR designates rose gold on APs. Yellow gold has made a bit of a comeback with many brands. Yellow gold has always been used but production is low compared to rose.
