Jlux's detailed post offers a timely re-evaluation of the Audemars Piguet Code 11:59, focusing on the impact of its new fumé dials. This article explores how these vibrant dial options address initial criticisms and enhance the watch's distinctive design elements, from its complex case to its modern movement. Jlux's personal acquisition and candid photography provide an invaluable, hands-on perspective for collectors considering this controversial yet innovative timepiece.

So would you say the dial is the best executed component of this piece?
The case however is in a league of its own. Extremely complex and perfectly executed including quite a lot of hand polishing.
Thanks for your interesting post and write-up. I'm not 100% convinced yet, but I think AP is going in the right direction regarding the 11:59. And your watch is really beautiful. Especially the case!! You definitely "turned" me in the „pro-direction“. I am one of those who would prefer the dial without a date or at least with a different positioning of the date. I think that Moser (you mentioned the brand in your post) does an even better job when it comes to the design of beautiful dials. IMHO
Enjoy the watch. Jon
Most likely we will not see a steel version very soon.
Btw, I am also a great fan of Endeavour Concept watch is high on my list.
