Audemars Piguet congratulates its Ambassador LeBron James on his Most Valuable Player award

It is the third time in four years that LeBron has won basketball's most prestigious individual award, elevating him to one of the greatest players. LeBron won the award with the Cleveland Cavaliers twice before moving to Miami Heat last season. Only seven other players have won the trophy three times or more.

LeBron James averaged 27.1 points, 7.9 rebounds and 6.2 assists during the 2011-12 regular season.

The MVP is awarded by a panel of 121 voters of sportswriters and broadcasters throughout the United States and Canada, including one collective fan vote. LeBron clearly came out on top of the ranking, in recognition of his powerful, intelligent and unclassifiable game. He totaled 1,074 points, including 85 first-place votes.

LeBron James has been a brand ambassador for over a year. He is a sportsman that perfectly embodies the Audemars Piguet philosophy "to break the rules, you must first master them". His passion for the game drives him to constantly reinvent and raise the bar for himself. A keen devotee of Haute Horlogerie, LeBron wears a Royal Oak Offshore - http://www.audemarspiguet.com/en/watch-collection/royal-oak-offshore - watch.
