MichaelC's detailed photographic essay on the Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Concept Tourbillon 'Companion' offers a critical look at this unique collaboration. While acknowledging his personal reservations about the artist KAWS, MichaelC meticulously highlights the watch's innovative materials, case design, strap, and movement, inviting a deeper appreciation for AP's horological ambition beyond the artistic partnership. His post sparks a compelling discussion on the intersection of high horology and contemporary art.
