The Royal Oak Offshore Diver is not new in general as it was already presented in 2010, but in a "simple" steel version.

The new white ceramic version I had no chance to see at SIHH in Geneva, but afterwards. Lucky me, the light was just perfect when I saw and handled it. Just perfect for taking lots of pictures which I wanted to share with you, now.

As we know it from AP, there is lots of attention to the details. All in white, but quite different materials and structures. Nice, very nice!

The blue details are just the cherry on the cake and remind me to a nice holiday in Creek & Turkey, some years ago.

The back is no surprise as well and most of you will be familiar with the AP movement. Still I think you donΒ΄t mind to see it again smile

On the wrist it fits perfect on mine and the buckle does a great job - solid & comfortable.

Most important is (probably for most of you) how does it look on the wrist. Well, have a look and judge by your own.

Different light/angles brings out different details.

Sometimes white watches tend to look "female", but looking at the bold crown guards I would say not in this case.

Conclusion:

It is a very nice watch, but not for me. It is not my favorite diver from AP and not my favorite white ceramic AP. But this is just a matter of taste and not of quality shown. If someone is looking for a very cool and solid diver in white - here we go!

In addition I would like to show you the diver and white ceramic I would prefer instead, but once more it is just me and my taste.

But as mentioned before, judge by your own smile

I generally like it, although I agree that the white chrono is fabulous! I'm sure in person the detials as you mention, are killer! I wonder how this watch would change if teh gasket between the bezel and case would be in blue, and if the strap also in blue?? Maybe a LE in that config in the works ;) Thanks for the wonderful shots. Here in Barcelona white watches are suddenly popping up everywhere!! S

I had not until now taken this watch seriously. But that was then and this is now. I am a HUGE fan of the AP Diver. I think it is their most compelling new piece in the past several years, and my favorite version is, as for you, the original. In fact the original has led me to dismiss each successive version as less than the original. BUT, the white ceramic diver is jaw dropping stunning! It is not as versatile a watch as the original, but honestly I am finding it as attractive and just as emoti

And I hope in the future that AP makes more colored variants which red, yellow, or orange accents! Cheers, Anthony

I'm about to buy my second AP. The first is a 15400 white dial. Found and tried the original diver (steel case) and liked it. Almost ready to buy it these questions are holding me back: - New ceramic crowns seem better than the original diver rubber crowns; - New display back while the original diver is closed. The last one is the idea of the internal rotating bezel which requires a second crown - this doesn't make a lot of sense for diving i.e a difficult to operate crown and another point for
