I'm not gonna repeat the introduction of this watch, as much have already been mentioned by most of the esteemed owners and enthusiasts in the online universe. You may have known this watch much better, but I'm sure you don't mind a few more pics here to remind you its beauty :dummy:

Arguably the best designed ROO, some have coined it the "King", RB2 is extremely rich in details, all race car inspired, which make this watch highly addictive. The brilliant combo of titanium and ceramic gives this watch a balanced contrast which exudes ultimate sportiness and luxury.

The cut-out dial which exposes the movement is a novel design. The choice of the font in the chrono sub-dials as well as the use of "rail" markers in the sec sub-dial at 12o'clock have given the dial its rightful modern look, while those colorful chrono hands have added a hint of fun without looking out of place. The sculpted hour and minute hands nicely decorated the dial, and my most favorite detail is actually the enlarged AP emblem which completes this outstanding dial.

The bezel is particularly interesting, especially with the bold screws and the vent running along the side profile of the bezel. The enlarged crown guards with those sculpted ceramic pushers look avant-garde, although not to everyone's liking, it is definitely my cup of tea! And that crown, full of details, is another of my favorite design elements of this watch

Even the strap plots are designed like a pedal! The leather strap also comes with racing-inspired pattern to complete the racing theme of this watch.

On the wrist, the watch wears very comfortably thanks to the wonderful Ti/Ceramic combo which is very light weight. The leather strap is soft and, fortunately, the deployant buckle fitted my wrist rather well which allowed the watch to be strapped snugly without the buckle "digging" into my flesh.

My only gripe is that such fantastic watch should have come with a display case back. Nevertheless, RB2 certainly lives up the hype and easily the "King" ROO to me. The details on this watch are amazing, and AP's attention to detail when designing this reference is also incredible, which deserves a standing ovation

It has stolen a place in my heart…
Maybe one day…

Thanks for reading!

I find it cool, but, still, I preferred and stil prefer the JP Montoya Titanium.

Which I find to be more coherent. Nonetheless, this Barrichello is top cool! Thanks for sharing the photos! Nicolas

I understand your love for JPM Titanium...

I share the same view as you, especially for some of the lovely novelty features in JPM, e.g. the first use of rectangular chrono pushers, the unique bezel and bold screws as well as a nice display case back showing the disc brake inspired rotor blade. However, that view changed slightly when I got to handle the RB2 :) For you, my friend:

I really blame my wrist, each time I see a nice picture of the JPM Ti.

Each time... Like this time. ;) Best, my friend. Nicolas

Beauty

I find it beautiful and slick looking however technically the newer ROO have longer power reserves and I also enjoy see thru casebacks which this lacks.

Spot on...

It needs a display case back indeed! Thanks for your comment :)

A fine study of a fine timepiece

Hi Wayne, Thanks for sharing your thoughts and images. While I've always felt that AP issued a fully-realized effort with the RB2 (not every ROO limited feels as cohesive), your photos and commentary brought the model to life and illuminated details that had eluded me until now. Despite massive proportions and bold forms, the RB2 is packed with subtlety and really rewards a considered study such as yours. You wear it well, and I hope "Rubens" returns to pay your collection a long-term visit in t
