Yes, it's a done deal! All thanks to the kind assistance from fellow Purists, especially TM and Koen S., and the exceptional service from AP Singapore that I was able to acquire this rare piece with a peace of mind, and tremendous pleasure.

It was love at first sight despite its age! What a special material combo and exquisite flat dial which is a refreshing twist from the classic RO design. It might be small by today's standard, but the 36mm case balance well on my wrist, and it is hefty thanks to the tantalum. The two-tone appeal completes the twist!

As this reference is really rare, I'm very pleased to receive great assistance from Oliviero and his team from AP Singapore on the verification of the accuracy and originality of the design. I must say, the joy of this particular acquisition does not only come from the intriguing product, but also completed by the exemplary service from the brand.

I'm very satisfied smile

Awesome Wayne! Glad it worked out.

With TM, Koen, and AP Singapore all at your disposal you cannot go wrong! Kudos to everyone who helped here to make sure you got the real thing. The watch itself is beautiful. I love the smooth slate colored dial. I think it looks well suited to the case size. Looking forward to more reports on this one!!

Thanks Michael! I'm really fortunate...

... to receive all the helps in this quest. This forum was the first place I came for a 'rescue' when I couldn't find any info about this watch, and I dare say my decision was spot on! :) By the way, AP Singapore helped to firm up my decision with this scan from an old catalogue in the mid-90s. The one on the left confirms all characteristics of the watch, perhaps except the dial color. But it looks like there's only one reference for this watch. I'll post more photos, maybe a small review some
