Baselworld 2013 West End Preview

A couple of weeks ago, myself and a number of Purists (including a freshly inaugurated Moderator) were kindly invited to a taster of some of the new watches shown at Basel this year.

Although a vintage man myself, I make it a point of principle never to pass up a cocktail or a chance to mingle with Purists in the company of watches handled
with the finest hands in white gloves.

Here, in no specific order, are some pictures I took of the event.

The event was housed in a converted Dairy, which made for a spectacular space.

Ahh the Portuguese, I do have a weakness for these.
