Dear Friends,
let me share with you some pics taken by me on Sat in Basel (GMT also back from service just in time)!
Overall I’m not disappointed with the show, especially since there is more room to sit and eat and there is more green inside (and more cars exposed too, which, at least for me, is a good thing).
As many, I was expecting more interesting news from Rolex etc, but It was nice to see new colors/styles from Breitling, Tag, Hublot, Seiko and so on and the writs trial of Oris watches.
Still IN MY OPINION, shame on Bulgari, Bell&Ross, Chanel & G-shock: very few watches exposed, no interaction whatsoever and no catalogue for visitors.
I especially enjoyed the Patek Philippe stand and the Porsche design one (well, guess why), not to mention the external pavilion with all the more “creative” brands, it really deserved a deep visit!
That is pretty much all for my 3rd visit to Baselworld!
Cheers

I guess the simple question is there a watch that you cannot live without or was it mostly more of what you expected. It seems the independents give you a chance for a more personal touch. Or is it really more about the business of getting orders. Thanks for sharing.
really love that green Bentley!
(not to mention to enjoy not only the beauty of many new pieces, but the idiosyncrasies of particular individuals—which is always interesting to me). Bravo! And that new Yacht Master… Whoa! Best regards, FH
About the GMT meteorite, it is stunning to see it live, but to me it feels like "misses" something, I don't know what, maybe I'd have preferred it with all black bezel let's see what baselworld 2020 will bring us (in 14 months this time, not in 12, next year is going to be first week of may)...
My hopes are always too see something new and simple but not trivial, and that maybe you can also purchase
And believe me I love that Bentley too ahahah
