This post was prepared on behalf of LCDW   about her adventurous trip to the Belles Montres.

It is sort of a delayed telecast and she will update with the pictures using MMS  (Multimedia Messaging Service) through her Nokia N96 mobilephone.

So she is currently one of our 'on-site reporters'  smile  Thank you!

Here we go .....

Arrived after about 14 hours of flight time from Singapore to Paris .... arrived on 27 Nov early morning ...

In a limousine towards the hotel ....

8.05 passing by Place de la Concorde.
The sun was rising & traffic was still heavy.  Almost one hour journey from the airport to hotel.

8.20am Checking in at hotel Pont Royal smile
Nice warmth Christmas spirit all around.  Really uplifting & the weather is so perfect at 8 degrees celcius.

12 noon, after unpacking etc, ready to go out n walk to look for lunchy place.

Just as the feet stepped out of hotel & looked to the right, the name just struck on the right note!
Robuchon!  This was the lunchy place then smile

Interesting menu smile
Will try to decipher the menu and start ordering smile

Voila!
First dish was L'aubergine Confite en Mille Feuille.  Very delicious starter.
The eggplant with mozzarella cheese blended well bite after bite.. smile

Second dish was La Chataigne en Fin Veloute.
Nice foamy cappucino style soup with foie gras & bacon.  Simply out of this world..

Third dish, L'Oeuf Cocotte et sa Creme Legere de Girolles was so light that i was sure i really have chosen the right diet which was well-balanced.
It's another foamy concoction of half-poached egg in creamy soup.

While waiting for souffle as dessert, so nice of them to give me fresh yummylicious shorbet smile plus sipping refreshing mint tea.

Something else came up & was wondering if somewhere somehow i have ordered wrongly.
Instead of souffle this was the dessert. it's a set of delicious tarts...tummy felt contented n full to the brim..

To cut the long story short, the souffle arrived & they said they felt bad to make me wait for it to be done so they were happy to let me savour their palatable desserts!
Merci! So generous & gracious! Right after lunch, went to room n rest. No energy to walk cos digestive system worked triple hard.

Next is..

Hey..who's here?
The legend himself, Mr Philippe Dufour smile
We're at hotel lobby at 5.30pm &  ready to set off to an exciting place.

Voila!
We arrived at Carrousel du Louvre for Belles Montres 2008 Salon International de L'Horlogerie de Prestige!

Time for action! Ready?

Wow! What do we have here?
One big family of Dufour's legendary pieces! Superb!

More of the precious babies tomorrow.
Right now, need to prepare the showcase smile hurry hurry.. Cocktail is starting soon n all the VIPs would be arriving at any moments!

To be continued .....
