I've always found the boutiqe's strap offerings were colorful enough for me. So I can't help you with bespoke. I did order a belt strap from Camille Fournet and that turned out to be a bit of a mini nightmare. They remade it twice (total of three straps) and I realized the first one was probably the best one (should've kept that one).
The strap above is standard FPJ I sourced from my AD, but in talking with the boutique recently (yesterday) they told me they can do totally one off bespoke straps. Mentioned they have done it many times. I am expecting photos later this week of some examples of one off's they have made for clients, but just wondering if this is a "twice as expensive route" to take, because like you, I do quite like all the standard offerings.
And that was a belt for my waist. A "ceinture" if my French is accurate. I do wish watch companies had more strap options in non alligator/crocodile. As I want to reduce my consumption of these products since the animals are killed in a long process where the animal feels a large amount of pain and is alive for hours. Different patterns of cow/bison/cordovan leather would be attractive to me!
That looks so good. As for bespoke straps: my understanding is the Boutique will work with you and then supply the "design" and the curved, quick release spring bars to Jean Rousseau for the manufacture. My Centiigraphe is on a JR strap.
Glad the blue sang to you. I started on a Dark Khaki similar to yours (but FPJ not JR), but ultimately put that on the Urban Jurgensen (their strap was a 20/16 and I did not like the 16 part - but it was a curved spring bar so it worked great). Got the blue for the Havana, but it worked so well on the Centigraphe I swapped them and now I am looking for something interesting for the Havana.
You made MAD jealous!
