Hello guys

let me introduce myself,

my name is Blaise and, even though I know many of you and you know me as well from various other forums, I thought it was necessary to do a proper introduction as I've been registered here for a couple of days now.

I'm living in the UK now, but originally form Hungary. Still studying (gonna graduate soon) and moderating Vintage Omega Forum. I'm pretty much the youngest here (no offense to the vintage guys :-D ), as far as I see but already hooked.

Some of my pieces so far (some are gone, some stayed but I loved 'em all)

etc etc...

Hope you'll take me in!

Best wishes from East Anglia.

Blaise

Happy to welcome you here, Blaise!

Very happy to welcome you. You should tell us more about your Vintage, Blaise. Stunningly, no Speed Master, No Sea Master, but some very nice and elegant pieces. And a lovely Memo Star, if I'm not wrong! Looking forward to hear more from you, Best, Nicolas

Well, not quite...

Hey Nicholas and thanks for the warm welcome... Actually my first Speedy is on its way (hopefully), but I have some Seamasters namely, the Chronostop, the Chronograph 1040, Memomatic and I even have Cosmic 2000 which deserves a Spa treatment. So that Memo Star is actually a Memomatic ;-)

Yes, Memomatic, of course!!! :)))

Feel free to post some pics of the Seamasters.... The 300 with the thin bezel is very high in my list! Best! Nicolas

Hi, Blaise!

Welcome here, and I'm looking forward to learning more about vintage Omegas from you. There seems to be a really strong contingent of vintage Omega-lovers on this site. There's certainly a lot to love about these older models IMO. I don't collect vintage watches myself, but I certainly love to see the examples that my fellow PuristS put forth! Cheers, Daos

Welcome and I look forward to your contribution …

Hi Blaise, Nice collection and some case shapes we see less often these days. Reminds me of the variety that we lack in today’s offerings from Omega and other companies. Always great to see these classical pieces. Regards Andrew
