During a visit to the Breguet Beverly Hills Boutique there was one particular watch that really captivated me. It is the Breguet 3797BR Tourbillon and Perpetual Calendar in the Classique Complications collection. The watch is stunning and I haven't been this excited by a new watch in a very long tim

The reference 3797 represents Breguet's approach to the minute repeater complication within the Classique collection. This reference delivers the traditional chiming mechanism in a relatively compact 36mm format, positioning it as an accessible entry point into Breguet's minute repeater offerings.
The watch features an 18k yellow gold case measuring 36mm in diameter with a fixed bezel configuration. A silver dial sits beneath sapphire crystal, while the manual-winding movement provides the mechanical foundation for the minute repeater function. Water resistance extends to 30 meters, reflecting the dress watch orientation of this timepiece.
This reference appeals to collectors seeking minute repeater complications in a more wearable case size. The 36mm proportions and yellow gold construction align with traditional dress watch conventions, making the 3797 suitable for collectors who prioritize the acoustic complication over contemporary sizing trends. The silver dial provides a neutral backdrop that complements the yellow gold case material.
Have not seen it yet and appreciate your pictures therefore. I must say: a great, great creation from Breguet with lots of charm and character. The beat ratio is also very interesting as it is only 18.000 / h, adding a lot tradition to this piece. Best Moritz
I too saw it in Las Vegas in RG. I wanted to see the platinum and the skeleton version, but I am thinking it is really nice to have the Breguet guilloche variants on the dial I have not determined if the watch has a single pusher to advance all date functions, as ths is a manual movement. Did you get any info about this? Best Joe
Thanks Moritz, hope you have a chance to see this Breguet, it is more stunning in person that in pics. So many details to see. Regards, ED-209
Hi Joe, very cool that you saw it in Vegas. I was just there at the Bellagio for the holiday weekend. Were there any other Breguet's that you saw there that you liked? There are three pushers on the watch, I'm not sure which functions each one sets. I'll have to find out. Regards, ED-209
But this was back in August. I went in specifically to see this watch. I only had a few minutes, as we were late for an appointment, but I did put it on. I just love all of the elements of this watch. They only had the RG so I could not compare. I want to get to NYC boutique this month to try and see it more Best, Joe
What is really good with this Watch is its proportions. Too often modern Breguet are too big, and sometimes, too thick, too. Here, this is not the case. The dial dcoration is top, too. Maybe a bit too busy for my taste, but the care in the dial finishings, is impressive. The movement, too. All the best, Nicolas.
