Amanico's insightful post from 2020 meticulously details Breguet's refreshed Classique references, the 7137 and 7337. This article remains highly relevant for collectors interested in Breguet's approach to updating its iconic models, particularly how subtle dial and moon phase enhancements can redefine a watch's aesthetic. Amanico highlights the nuanced changes that distinguish these contemporary iterations from their predecessors, offering a valuable reference for understanding Breguet's design evolution.

The Breguet Classique 7337 is a distinguished member of the Classique collection, embodying the brand's foundational aesthetic principles. It features a traditional round case and a dial layout that pays homage to historical Breguet designs, offering a contemporary interpretation of classic horology.
This reference is equipped with the self-winding Caliber 591A, operating at 28,800 vibrations per hour and providing a power reserve of 38 hours. The 18k rose gold case measures 37mm in diameter, with a sapphire crystal protecting the silver dial. The movement is visible through a sapphire case back, revealing its intricate finishing. It is water-resistant to 30 meters.
The Classique 7337 is recognized by collectors for its refined execution of traditional complications, including a moon phase display and a retrograde date. Its understated elegance and adherence to Breguet's design codes make it a significant piece for those appreciating classical watchmaking with a contemporary size.
Thank you for your detailed report and shots !
Makes the watch to a modern version of their last, similar model (ALS and AP, but also companys like Omega did much in recent years to make the moonphase visually more interesing). The wg version is really amazing since it creates a bridge between the very sporty marine and the very elegant classique collection. I could think that i would wear the wg version with a textil strap to make that piece even a bit more sporty. All in all a very nice update. If this company were named Lange, they would
the old versions have a charm & elegance the new one miss...incl. 35/36mm case size ;-) Thanks for those pics Nico - incredible ! Best, mahesh.,
Easily one of the most beautiful watches from Breguet in the recent years. Prices are however very (too) ambitious.
Which would you buy - Breguet or Als?
It is quite important for me actually.
