The second of three perpetual calendar watches Breguet made pre-Swatch. This model was manufactured from around 1988-1998, and was possibly the last of Daniel Roth’s designs before leaving Breguet. There are probably only 40 or so of this reference ever manufactured.
Breguet under Chaumet ownership (1970-1987) never felt the need to manufacture large quantities of any reference they created. Their customers were Chaumet jewelry customers-enticed to buy a Breguet as exclusive as the jewelry that brought them to the boutique on the Place Vendome.

This piece is simply top class, and perpetual calendar is probably my favourite complication as I realise that I have 3 of them from PP 😉 You are so right this piece is from a golden era, at the time that the only concern of the brand was to manufacture top quality horology and with so much Breguet DNA. Bravo my friend for this choice 👍👌👌 wear it in the best of your health !
