Wellingtoncromwell's query on choosing between the Breguet Tradition 7027 and the Arnold & Son Nebula sparks a fascinating discussion among collectors. This comparison highlights the distinct philosophies of two brands, one rooted in historical homage and the other in modern horological expression. The community's insights offer valuable perspectives for anyone weighing tradition against contemporary design in their next acquisition.

I personally always prefer watch that use the whole dial for time reading instead of a smaller tiny portion. Also think the open work on this AS richer in details compared to the breguet.
The 7027 is the closest to the original watch made by Abraham Louis, it's not only a manufacture movement it's a "1 watch only" movement. The AS is not bad looking but it's just a design exercise, nothing close the Breguet legacy
The name, the quality of the watch are strong assets. The Nebula is a very appealing piece but I have question marks about its reliability. Fx
Iconic, precious metal, will never be mistaken for anything else.
It is such an iconic piece!
For the exotisme, the AS. For the Classicism, the Breguet.
