His post highlights the watch's original purchase in 1989 and recent customization with a deployant clasp and custom strap. This article delves into the unique characteristics and historical context of this particular reference, offering insights into its design and collector appeal.

The Breguet Tourbillon Ref. 3350 represents a pivotal offering within Breguet's modern horological revival, being among the earliest wristwatches to feature a tourbillon complication. Introduced in the late 1980s, it established a contemporary benchmark for the brand's commitment to high watchmaking, translating Abraham-Louis Breguet's historical invention into a wearable format for the discerning collector.
The reference typically features a round case, often in precious metals, with Breguet's signature fluted caseband. The dial is characterized by a guilloché pattern, frequently a 'Clous de Paris' hobnail, with blued Breguet hands and Roman numerals. A prominent aperture at 12 o'clock showcases the tourbillon regulator, often with a three-armed bridge. The movement is a hand-wound caliber, designed to highlight the tourbillon's intricate mechanics.
For collectors, the Ref. 3350 is significant as an early modern tourbillon wristwatch from the brand that invented the complication. Examples from the initial production years are particularly sought after for their specific movement finishing, including unique floral engravings. Its historical context and mechanical prominence contribute to its enduring appeal in the secondary market.
And looks great on that strap.
Lovely combination. She wears it immaculately well. Cheers, Filip
Stellar combination with that strap 👌
But the result looks great, we will still do some adjustments for the next ones. But happy wife, happy life!🤔
Well done on the strap. M4
Engraving, ciselage, a work of art, really! Here is a picture, and the flower decoration is only on the 1st couple of years of the 3350. So, they are quite a rare sight.
