Agyzace's captivating photography of a Breguet Classique Tourbillon offers a fresh perspective on how seasonal aesthetics can complement horological artistry. This visual exploration invites collectors to appreciate the intricate details of Breguet's Grand Complication through the lens of 'fall colors,' highlighting the watch's timeless design against a vibrant backdrop. It underscores the enduring appeal of classic Breguet references and their ability to inspire new appreciation.

The Breguet reference 3657 is a notable example of the brand's approach to classic complications, featuring a perpetual calendar and moon phase display. This reference is part of a series that showcases Breguet's traditional watchmaking, emphasizing legibility and a balanced dial layout despite the complexity of its functions. It represents a period where Breguet continued to refine its perpetual calendar mechanisms within a more understated aesthetic.
This timepiece is housed in an 18k yellow gold case measuring 34 mm in diameter. It is equipped with the automatic caliber 502.3, which provides a power reserve of 45 hours. The watch features a sapphire crystal, contributing to its durability and clarity. Water resistance is rated at 30 meters, suitable for everyday wear. The fixed bezel frames a silver dial, which typically features Breguet numerals and hands.
For collectors, the reference 3657 appeals to those seeking a traditionally sized perpetual calendar from a historic manufacturer. Its combination of an automatic movement with a perpetual calendar and moon phase in a precious metal case makes it a significant piece within Breguet's offerings from the mid-1990s. The design adheres to Breguet's established codes, making it a recognizable and desirable example of their complicated wristwatches.
It’ll sing in yellow. Got a yellow one on today (with some patina.)
I just have a yellow Breguet on today. A “plain” 3237 chrono here.
Quick look with all the hands poised at noon and it looks like the split. Actually had the split many, many years ago, with the coaxial pusher. Great watch, but a tad too top-heavy for me…
It really is such a beautiful watch and a great example of Breguet at its best. Marc
