BREITLING celebrates its 60th anniversary of its Navitimer chronograph,a trusted 'wrist instrument' of many aviators since 1952.  To commemorate this special occasion, BREITLING launches the 500-piece limited edition blue Navitimer Blue Sky.  John Travolta, BREITLING ambassador, celebrity and pilot, personally flies himself and his family to Singapore to unveil the BREITLING Navitimer Blue Sky at the Equinox.

Arthur, I think the lighting was poor at the press conference as it was geared towards T.V. video recording and watch displays but not for regular cameras.. Here is a recent photo in better but still not natural lighting....very recent...about 2 hours ago at Breitling Blue Sky Navitimer Launch. :-) No funky make-up here. Regards, MTF

Dear Anthony, I would not presume to give the definitive view from Mr Travolta but I did listen to him at the press conference and later at the public launch, talking about the reasons for his associations with aviation related brands like Breitling and Qantas. He had the grace to answer 3 questions from PuristSPro. I believe that Travolta would never consider Bremont. His main criterium for brands is true heritage in aviation, that Bremont is lacking. It is a brand named after a French farmer,

.. although I am aware that Jager-le Coultre and Jaeger, the instrument maker are two separate companies. However, Breitling of today has nothing to do with Breitling the instrument maker. I recall the efforts of Breitling, trying to make Revue Thommen produce plane instruments that would be branded as Breitling and sold with stands for display purposes.
