The partnership agreement concluded in 2011 between Bulgari and the New Zealand All Blacks has given rise to a special Haute Horlogerie creation: the Bulgari Endurer Chronosprint All Blacks watch. On December 3rd and 4th last, three players from the legendary rugby team – which won the world championship in 2011 – were in Switzerland to visit the Bulgari watchmaking sites.

Tamati Ellison, Hosea Gear and Luke Romano, all members of the world's most famous rugby team, enjoyed an opportunity to discover the intricacies involved in the various stages of making a watch.

After witnessing the assembly of timepieces in the Brand's Neuchâtel workshops in the company of Guido Terreni, managing director of Bulgari Horlogerie, the three players went on to La Chaux-de-Fonds to discover the secrets behind the creation of sophisticated dials – and more specifically the one that adorns the watch specially created by Bulgari in partnership with the All Blacks.

On the second day of their visit, the rugbymen travelled to Le Sentier, headquarters of the Bulgari manufacturing facility dedicated to complicated movements, scene of the assembly and adjustment of the Endurer Chronosprint All Blacks model which powerfully embodies the ties between Bulgari and the iconic team.

This sophisticated, innovative and elegant timepiece is synonymous with cutting-edge performance and embodies a natural partnership grounded on excellence. The case frames a dial bearing a symbolic motif that is recurrent in the tattoos of Maori warriors, the Koru. A symbol of life, growth, strength, path and rebirth, it conveys the perpetual renewal of the All Blacks legend and the foundational values that continue to guide the team.
