Is this your first Octo Finissimo? My main advice is that the micro rotor doesn't seem to consistently wind very well. So you need to be "very active" to keep it wound. Some days, after walking 20,000 steps (walking 15 kilometers), the watch still stopped at 3AM in the middle of the night. Hopefully yours does not have this problem. Another small issue is that the four little screws on the clasp area can sometimes peep out a little bit. Just tighten them back in with a fingernail. But I'm so ver
Is there a serial number that says 101/200 or something like that?
The staff told me there were only 2 pieces allocated for Northern Europe.
Funny thing is that the staff mentioned some of the difficulties other owners had with winding. Bulgari already received some OF’s in their service center because of this issue. Now Bulgari tells new owners to fully wind the watch before wearing. A full wind is considered to be +/- 75 rotations of the crown. I find this quite a high number but I guess I’ll find out pretty soon…
I do this as well. 75 rotations. You hear a tiny click in the movement if you put it right next to your ear. The watch then seems to run for around 5-6 days before stopping. Maybe 7-8 days if you're really active. It's not bad. But my other micro rotor watches would fully wind if I was "really" active. But if I wasn't walking a couple miles, then even those would stop. Micro rotors, they're not the most efficient. But they're great to look at!
Oslo, Helsinki, AMS, Sweden... ONLY TWO? Wow! I imagine USA got 10-15%, so 20-30 pieces. Europe typically gets around 20-25%, and the bulk goes to Asia. Japan used to have its own allocation for most brands, separate from the rest of Asia. I don't know about nowadays and at Bulgari. Wow!
