Geo's original post sparked a vibrant discussion around the re-released Cartier Pebble, a model first introduced in 1972. His initial query about the 36mm case size and its wearability, accompanied by wrist shots, invites collectors to share their perspectives on this distinctive timepiece. This article synthesizes the community's insights on the Pebble's design, market positioning, and overall appeal.

The 36mm Pebble watch, which dates back to 1972, was re-released, for the first time since then,
in a 36mm case, last month.
At first, I thought, would it not be too small, but it seems that the case design wears larger than expected.
My wrist in the picture measures 18cm.
What do you think in general of this model?

Superbly retro, and the size contributes also in this feeling.

The size really amazed me

Normally a flat 36mm, wears pretty small. But this models wears great on an average wrist. GEO

I love this unmistakable Cartier design …

In a world of sports watches and lookalikes this watch stands out for all the right reasons. 36mm isn’t a problem for me as many classic watches that I enjoy are this size as is the excellent original Rolex Explorer. Your photos show just how beautiful this design is. Best regards Captain
