My favorite watch from the show. I worry it may wear small since I prefer 38-41 mm. I will give it a year and see if it becomes available. The AE is a beauty and I love how thin it is, but appears to have a big wrist presence. For me, I'm moving toward more tool oriented sport watch.. the new Ti ingenuier is intriguing.
The smaller 1860 is very nice, and WAY more desirable than the Revolution version w/ date. But too small. 38mm would be great on that one.
Though i wish they made it even smaller at 36mm so that the sub dial wouldnāt have to sit as high as it does. Although getting rid of the date was a great design choice, there is an empty space there now. Deleting the āautomaticā would make it so much cleaner. š
Iāve been eyeing the original for the better part of a decade, this one in steel seems like it was made for me!
I donāt think Iām gonna pay the asking prices⦠but if i had to choose one LUC1860. This is a great looking watch in a great size. Iām probably quite done with sports watches. Itās losing their appeal to me. Probably will wear mostly Rolex. An expensive sports watch is just hard to produce any utilitarian value. The only luxury sports that I love is the Royal Oak ā my favorite Genta design. Maybe the Aquanaut comes in second, and thatās about it. Best Gatsby
ā¦but AE for me. The 1860 is too small for me. Already orderedā¦
