As soon as I saw the first images of the 8HF from it's launch at Baselworld I knew it was for me. I immediately mailed KFS who, in the middle of the show, took the time to reply. He said that the limited production was all allocated but he would do his best for me. Two weeks later he told me that I would get one. Chopard is a huge business and KFS has so many things on his mind and in his hands, so to take time for a single ordinary customer deserves thanks and appreciation. When I received the
Glad to know the watch is so special to you. It's easy to see why! Best, CaliforniaJed
That is certainly a rare and special Chopard watch with only 100 examples produced and high frequency escapement. I have seen and listened to one but it was a cheat because I was at a Chopard-PuristS event in London. Where else could one expect a target-rich environment? :-) Most of the attendees had Chopard watches...... The sound of the hi-beat is unlike anything I've heard before. A bit like the mechanical alarm watches...brrrrrrrr....only softer in volume. Very hi-tech, which is probably why
Love that the 8hz made the WOW post! I just got mine, #8, a few weeks ago and love it. Thanks Cellni's Waldorf!
Hey, Szaks, congratulations! And equally important, welcome to PuristSPro and to the Chopard Forum. I hope you'll stick around, and post more pictures of that beautiful 8HZ. Enjoy it in the best of health. CaliforniaJed
Hopefully the first of many posts.
