NEW YORK , NY (May, 4, 2012) - Yesterday evening, in celebration of Madison Avenue Watch Week, Chopard hosted a Collectors' Cocktail with an exclusive preview of the new L.U.C Timepieces from Chopard's Manufacture in Fleurier. Featured demonstrations were given by an in-house artisan and Fleurier specialist. Watch collectors and guests came together to admire the time-honored crafts produced completely in-house. The Chopard Manufacture designs, develops and produces mechanical movements dedicated to L.U.C timepieces of Haute-Horlogerie. Since 1996, the manufacture has developed 9 distinct families of L.U.C calibres comprising of more than 50 different variations. 4,000 movements are hand-made each year by 160 artisans. The tradition and innovation practiced within the Manufacture workshops were brought to the flagship boutique on Madison Avenue for this special occasion.
