Ant passionately champions the Chopard L.U.C Quattro MkIII, highlighting its often-overlooked beauty and exceptional craftsmanship. He details the watch's symmetrical dial, exquisite guilloché, practical seven-day power reserve, and Geneva Seal movement, emphasizing its unique blend of exclusivity and universal admiration from both enthusiasts and the general public.

but I think that the Chopard Mkiii, Quattro is one of the most handsome watches I have ever set eyes on.

First I love the beautiful symmetry (no matter what the designers insist upon, asymmetry just doesn't do it for me), then there is the exquisite sun-ray guillochet dial, sensible size and thickness, the full seven days power reserve, the super quality Geneva Seal movement.

What else could one (this one at least!) want?

Exclusivity: how many of this series do you see? I have a reasonable number of watchista friends and nobody has one,,,,, suits me.

And then there are the 'civilian' reactions. Almost all my other (ahem! far too many others actually!) watches do not get any response or reaction but this gets admired,,,,,note: not envied, just admired. A nice feeling.
Rather similar to driving a Maserati Quattroporte mk5 when they were launched,,, nobody knew what they were or had preconceptions/attitudes about what it represented, they just loved its beauty,,,,still do actually!
Very like the Chopard mkiii, it is a pleasure to own and wear.

Thanks for reading.

Personally I think Chopard is a bit underrated in the watch community, just don't see many around.

It is so sad that Chopard rarely gets the recognition it so obviously merits. Kind regards Antony

Chopard certainly makes a lot of nice ones including yours... have been tempted by a few different LUC varieties over the years but not yet pulled the trigger... who knows, perhaps one day

I believe that there were four models that had this visual style: Lunar One Strike 1 Quattro Classic
