As WatchProSite approaches its 25th anniversary, long-time contributor amanico sparks an exciting discussion by proposing a special limited edition Chopard L.U.C Time Traveler One in steel. His initial concept explores specific modifications to the dial, case, and case back, aiming to create a unique timepiece that embodies the community's spirit while remaining budget-conscious. This article synthesizes the community's enthusiastic feedback and creative suggestions for this potential collaboration.

Ok, I have to contact Chopard to see if it is possible to work from this watch to get a WPS 25th Edition.

Let's keep it in steel, for the budget.

Then, let's think of the modifications we could work on to make it " ours ".

1/ The dial: what about Airport codes instead of cities name?

I would keep it black, but change the orange indices and hands for another color. Red? Date hand in red, too.

24 hours ring? Blue and red?

2/ The case: the original dimensions are 42 x 12 mm. Can we get a tad smaller one? 40 mm would be perfect. 10 mm high better, too.

3/ Case back: Personalized rotor, with the mention 25th WPS Edition. 1 of 25?

Now, we have two extra solutions:

A/ A Tantalum case.

B/ Or / AND and Enamel dial. Black would be fantastic.

But both A and B would explode the budget.

What do you think?

Best,

Nicolas

So fantastic option… My humble input 1/ The dial: what about Airport codes instead of cities name? Great! I would keep it black, but change the orange indices and hands for another color. Red? Date hand in red, too.  Black indeed - indeed Red indices and hands Would keep date as is and not change the color (i don’t use the date function - haha). 24 hours ring? Blue and red? A bigger distinction between day and night - maybe black for night and white for day 2/ The case: the original dimensions a

A too busy dial. I would prefer something more reduced. Otherwise your suggestions make a lot of sense and spice for this piece.

Although I am still on the fence for the 5935a… I know I am not consistent 😉

Smaller case — perfect Airport codes — love it I am fine with the orange-yellow accents — but, red is a good option I would say no to the tantalum and enamel dial options for budget considerations. Thanks for sharing some early creative ideas!

If the functions are given at least make them useful, not like in the regular model.

Not sure why I'm commenting since I've blown the next two years' budget already so I definitely can't afford it I love the orange accents, my ideal tto would be a dial the blue of this 911, but brushed vertically, with orange lume, and an arena caseback.
