Chronometer (aka yacomino) shares a common, yet often frustrating, experience for luxury watch owners: an extended service period. His post highlights the unexpected challenges that can arise even with modern timepieces, prompting a discussion on service center diagnostics and the ultimate resolution of a full movement replacement. This real-world account offers valuable insights into the after-sales care of high-end watches.

Chopard used to have a two week service guarantee some time back - I guess your case is justifiably a bit different πππ»
that the movement had to be replaced. But itβs nice to see it back on your wrist. Cheers, Emmanuel
But,quite honestly,I find 5 months of waiting time to be totally unacceptable π
I also hear the winding sound a tad louder than my other AEs....but it is still keeping good time. However, this was at least 5 months news. Glad that they resolved the issue.
before the company is obligated to put in a brand new movement or a completely new watch. Too much time is spent on specs like METAS (nice as it is to have the rating) and not nearly enough time on durability and timely servicing.
Glad you have your pet Eagle back! My bird is having some winding issues (from the automatic rotor, it doesn't wind well on my wrist) and some big accuracy issues (runs around 20 seconds fast a day sometimes).
