Friends,
Another stunning beauty I had the pleasure to see in Vienna: The Christiaan Van Der Klaauw Planetarium 2000!
The dial is just mesmerising…
The planets rotating around the sun, the beautiful Guilloche pattern that comes from the centre of the solar system, the heated blue hands…
A feast in Silver and Blue with a small hint of red accent!
Absolutely stunning!
But what I think often is forgotten to be mentioned about this watch is the superb case and the onion crown perfectly matching the Guilloche pattern.
And not to forget the beautiful engraved movement!
Congrats to the owner and thank you for letting me play with this beauty!
Best

Was also very taken with this one in Vienna. In addition the watch has a cool owner, too Such a wonderful and romantic complication!
Hope to see it in the flesh one day. A YouTube link to admire this beauty https://m. Best wishes Alkiro
Excellent shot my friend Planetarium full force Cheers D
Astronomical complications are very dear to my heart, and I did not notice this *)? A truyl rare complication, beautifully executed. The case is bold but with simple lines, such as to give room but balance to the complications. Curious how this would wear... One aspect I would see rather being changed is the movement. The skeletonisation in my view does not add to the whole. Cheers, Magnus *) Man oh man, I just hope this does not disqualify from future GTGs...
Coming from you these positive words say a lot about the watch. Thanks you and I was very happy to oblige.
it was on the \'bar-table\' for at least an hour. Guessing the grappa got the best of you? ;-) No worries my friend. I\'ll bring it next time and will hand it over to you first. Before the "grappa-grappa-rounds" start
