Some of us change watches frequently but others, like me these last couple of years, rotate watches less often. Personally, I tend to have two watches around at any one time – a casual watch and a more dressy one – and I rotate those for a few months. Over winter it has been these two - the Rolex 5513 and the F.P.Journe Octa Reserve de Marche.

Work, casual, and gym. The Moser is just 3 months old, but has been a daily wearer to the office. This is my standard casual wear watch. Gym watch / beater. The 5056P is going to need to go for servicing soon - so things will change up. I've started to realize that fewer is better.

I've been wearing it all week long since the day of its arrival! Except when it gets really dark, and then I will reach for a ... Remember my doubts about those quartz-like seconds? Gone - never to return. The doubts, I mean! As for the seconds, there is nothing "quartzy" about them. Instead you get "deadly" precision between stop and jump, with no visible lapse or acceleration. Yet there is no distraction (irritation) from them for immediately getting the overall time. And they are always welco

The MIH. A Purists watch. It got nearly all the wear this summer, on a variety of different straps, and it is just great no matter the circumstances or occasion. Maybe the perfect watch (!). DJK [URL=] [/URL]
