ChristianDK's timely update from May 2020 announced the reopening of F.P. Journe's Paris and Geneva boutiques, marking a significant step as Europe began to emerge from COVID-19 lockdowns. This post captured a moment of cautious optimism for the luxury watch industry and collectors, highlighting the initial return to normalcy for one of horology's most revered independent brands. It offers a valuable historical snapshot of how the watch world navigated unprecedented global challenges.

Here in Denmark we are also gradually opening up.
This battle is not yet over.
May 18 is the date the government is expected to allow all "non-essential" businesses to reopen throughout the country, though under some rigid regulations (hardly consistent with a decent "luxury experience" in certain shops, if they comply to the letter). Local authorities may also have a say, but hopefully the mayor in Milano will allow businesses to open as well on that date! ;-) Cheers.
Nicolas can visit the boutique, or have a chat.
