Cholack shares his stunning F.P. Journe Chronomètre Bleu, acquired to mark a significant milestone, and captures its mesmerizing blue dial and tantalum case through exceptional photography. His post delves into the watch's aesthetic and movement finishing, while also revealing his aspiration to move up the F.P. Journe ladder, potentially parting with this beloved piece.

But perhaps that is just an excuse to acquire beauties like this!

The blue dial really changes with the light. Sometimes is an electric blue and others it can appear black

The grey tantalum case matches well with this dial

This watch is a nice entry to FPJ and after a month of ownership, I (unfortunately) want to move up the FPJ ladder so-to-speak.  Its too bad this Bleu will have to go to fund the next acquisition, but before that happens I hope you all get to appreciate it like I have.

Cheers,
Cholack

Wow...

This has to be one of the best photo I've seen on the chronobleu. Indeed the blue dial is mesmerizing and I especially love the heft of the piece. Now if only they make it just SLIGHTLY bigger and with some interesting complication....

Thanks for the compliments on the photos!

Yes, I too wish FPJ made more of his watches with a tantalum case and blue dial!
