His experience highlights the importance of meticulous strap changes and the unparalleled chronometric performance that defines F.P. Journe, reminding collectors why certain watches become lifelong companions.

The F.P. Journe Chronomètre Souverain represents the foundational timepiece within the brand's Souveraine collection. This reference demonstrates the manufacture's approach to precision timekeeping through manual winding mechanics, positioned as a core offering in F.P. Journe's lineup.
The 40mm case is executed in 18k rose gold with a fixed bezel configuration. A sapphire crystal protects the silver dial, while the manual-winding caliber 1304 movement provides an 80-hour power reserve. This reference appeals to collectors seeking F.P. Journe's mechanical execution in a fundamental three-hand configuration. The substantial power reserve and manual winding caliber position this model for enthusiasts who appreciate traditional watchmaking approaches within the Souveraine series framework.
I once dropped a friend’s CB on the first day that he took delivery of it, back in 2015. It didn’t take long for them to repair it (a screw had come loose off of the movement). Very happy to hear that it’s chronometry is perfect. I always look for that in mechanical watches, regardless of how aesthetically pleasing they are. So, congrats again. Have a good weekend Hussam
Not your best moment,I guess…😬 I was kicking my self for not being more careful but that’s hindsight in a nutshell… I agree completely on your words of precision. It was always a big deal to me. Wishing you a great weekend
Good weekend to you too
Just a great timekeeper. Have a great FPFriday!
I remembered you had it in red gold?! I didn’t remember this one. Isn’t it just an amazing watch. No nonsense, no hype. To me, the best simple manual wind watch. All brands included. Have a great weekend , Mike 😘
