Lankysudanese's new acquisition of an F.P. Journe Chronomètre Souverain in platinum sparks an engaging discussion among collectors. His initial post captures the raw excitement of a significant new watch arrival, a feeling many enthusiasts can relate to. This article delves into the specific details of his chosen reference and the community's insights on its unique characteristics and wearability.

P.S: this is a different watch from the one that you all helped me avoid. This one came with all the accoutrements and an extra strap.

Thanks for all your help

Inshallah this’ll be a blessed acquisition

[now I know why people always posted poor NWA photos: the adrenaline makes one too shaky to take clear photos or wait for good lightening)

you find an alternative to the one you initially considered buying and seemed to be your only opportunity?

was a better proposition ‘on paper’ (supposedly under warranty, and slightly cheaper). So I passed up on this one (even though it was mint and worn only once or twice). One I saw the other one in person and noticed all the missing pieces and solicited advice from all the awesome folks here…it was a no brainer. Fortunately, this one was still around

It’s gonna be a very long honeymoon…by the looks of it.
