It was my privilege to have the opportunity to participate in the preparation, shooting and post production of this documentary. The film was directed and produced by J. Wang, a fellow collector and big fan of Journe. Mr. Wang is the Editor-in-chief of Time and Art, and Jetmaster, two premier Chinese magazines on watches and luxury lifestyle. The project started in the week of SIHH this year, and the actual shooting was during the week right before Baselworld in March. Although in the end the film is only 35 minutes long, it took almost 5 months to go through multiple iterations of meticulous editing. Finally, here it is, and hope you enjoy it.

Here are a few screenshot from the film:

Cheers,

congrats for your involvement on it, this is a great work and good interviews; I know I am totally biased but I love the work of Journe. Did you catch that glorious statement "the Geneva's fountain is like a woman's temperament, you never know when it's gonna blow" lol!!

Thanks Alex for your compliments. As for the Geneva water fountain, it actually has a regular schedule each day. But due to weather change or other reasons, the fountain may go off at any time, really unexpected. IIRC, It took the crew three days to keep going back to the lake for several shootings. It was quite frustrating, and at the same a fascinating experience as well, LOL.

About that astronomical watch that he is developing; can't wait to see it, I am sure it's going to be something original and refreshing.
