ChristianDK initiates a compelling discussion on the F.P. Journe Quantième Perpétuel, specifically the blue dial from the Boutique Collection. His post highlights the watch's understated elegance, instant date change, and unique lug-based setting mechanism. This article delves into why this particular perpetual calendar, often overlooked in discussions, warrants closer examination from collectors and enthusiasts.

I mean the combo FPJ / QP / blue dial and even more the combo FPJ QP / elegant woman’s wrist
I always loved the previous version but this one somehow looked odd with the day and month windows being so close to the center due to the fact that the same calibre 1300 from the previous version was used. FP should have made a revision and moved those windows up. That said, I prefer the silver dial version due to the matching windows background and as always I also prefer the platinum 40 mm case. The perimeter of the guilloché area is oval.
My friend got a serious and amazing collection of FPJs and for some reason this watch got my attention each time i looked in the box . I am a fan of this watch 👌🏻😘
Is there a special significance to the numerals 3 and 9 being smaller than the rest? I mean the watch would have space for fully sized ones…
