This old beauty is just back from its first service ever.

I am over the moon with joy. Opening the package a few moments ago, I was struck with just how beautiful I think this watch is.

A perfect service job by Christophe who is the watch maker at FPJ Paris!

I know what I will be wearing this week 😊🥰

the pictures dont really show the sparkle from the texture. I think I will need to get the new Iphone. But I will bring it to London when we meet.

Do you know how many of the Boutiques have watchmakers? In some respects Paris seems like a less logical choice given the proximity to Geneva, compared to NY or HK for example.

You mean it looks better than the photo?? How is that possible?!

I will try to find out. the service department in Geneva is no more than a handful of watchmakers. I think it could be a question of finding a watchmaker of the right quality. Christophe had many years experience with Patek before moving to Journe Paris. He can service most of the watches, except the most complicated that go to Geneva.

They can service everything except chiming watches, Optimum, and I believe the Resonance. The most problematic of all services is the Optimum, since FP wants it to be close to him due tho the complexity of the escapement.
