CL presents stunning portraits of his F.P. Journe Tourbillon, contemplating its future. He shares his decision to secure the watch in a bank safe to reduce insurance costs, rather than selling it, and discusses his evolving perspective on collecting and the value of independent watchmaking.
. I've decided not to part way with it but to keep it in my bank safe and buy another watch to 'replace' it . This may reduce my wearing pressure/pleasure but also highly reduce my insurance cost.

Instead of putting it away, send it to me! I'll wear it, take good care of it, and cover the insurance costs until you want it back.
Such great and beautiful watches needs to be worn on the wrist imho
It has served me very well and now it is time to rest. It gives me a chance to buy new watch too
Look at that first picture! It is DIVINE! seriously!!! as good as it can get. Few watches reach this level! I think this is a great decision!!! There is no rush . Now you have time to think about it and should you decide to let it go - them it will be worth more in time. Im not sure what other watch you are getting? Im sure you have a great idea. Im looking forward to see what you come up with as well as seing your VC when you finally take delivery. best Christian
better than letting it go, is to give it some time.... you can read CLs thought here I guess we can alll relate, somehow, to these kind of thoughts
I probably will get a new Rehexpi when he announce.
