ChristianDK's original post unveils the F.P. Journe Vagabondage 1 in rose gold, a highly anticipated release that reignites discussion among collectors. This article delves into the intricate allocation process and the watch's design nuances, offering a comprehensive look at what makes this timepiece a significant event for the F.P. Journe community. ChristianDK's initial images provide an exclusive first look, setting the stage for an in-depth exploration of this horological marvel.

The F.P. Journe Vagabondage I represents the inaugural reference in the Vagabondage series, introduced in 2004. This reference establishes the foundation for F.P. Journe's exploration of unconventional time display concepts within a compact case format.
The 36.5mm platinum case houses the manual-winding caliber 1509 movement, delivering 40 hours of power reserve. The silver dial is protected by sapphire crystal, while a fixed bezel maintains clean lines. Water resistance extends to 30 meters, and the watch is completed with a leather strap.
This reference appeals to collectors seeking F.P. Journe's approach to alternative time displays in a more intimate case size. The platinum construction and manual movement align with the brand's commitment to traditional materials and hand-winding mechanisms. As the first Vagabondage reference, it occupies a specific position for collectors interested in F.P. Journe's horological concepts beyond conventional displays.
I especially like the Tortue case! They make a great Tortue case!
Thank you For looking. My friend.
The best tortue case is probably this one, I like it even more than Cartier's Tortue case. Patek Philippe's tortue cases were a little thin on the bezels, this one has a nice strong bezel - like a tortue (the animal) which portrays a strong animal.
You have a keen eye!
Christian, do you know the detail on how the application and VII anod VIII priority work for this release? I reckon many VII and VIII are in the original buyers’ hand and most likely not together. ps. out of all the days, they have to release it on april fool’s
