DonCorson presents an extensive photo report from the Geneva Time Exhibition (GTE) 2013, highlighting its significance as a hub for small brands and independent watchmakers. His 'fly-by' approach, featuring 77 images and insights from exhibitors, offers a unique perspective on the innovative and interesting pieces often overlooked at larger events like SIHH.

Although not with a long history like the SIHH or Basel the GTE "Geneva Time Exhibition" has grown to be a rendez-vous for small brands and Independents.  In short everything that is interesting!

The following is a quick fly-by (only 77 images).  I asked each (almost all) exhibitor to show me the two watches they most wanted PuristS to see.  As you can see I sometimes have problems counting and the order can only be described as chaotic.  Enjoy!

If this is not enough info for you, you will just have to stop by and look for yourself.

This year the GTE is being held in the Bâtiment des Forces Motrices built in the 1880s in the middle of the Rhône in downtown Geneva.

Have I stirred your curiosity ?
The GTE is only a small jump from the SIHH, do it!

To some of these pieces I will come back in the next days.

Thanks for the superb post, Don. Good to see you at work. Maybe will you be the only one to cover the SIHH, if snow doesn't stop falling. :) Best! Nicolas

. . . with matching shaped movement is intriguing, Don. I believe you've covered this one before (the movement, at least), and hope there's a bit more detail to come. Art
