I was lucky to pick up another vintage alarm Ref 9091 very recently. It is in amazing condition, almost NOS and also the movement is very very smooth.

I guess the downside is that it is gold-plated and with gold dial. Something I don't wear that often. In order to give it some funkiness and a cooler look on the wrist, I added a colourful NATO strap.

I think it works!

Congrats for your new arrival !.. Yes, same for me, being less excited for gold plated, but..

.. this one really is in great condition ! I find the colored NATO a joyous twist.. Wondered, if you ever tried a caramel/ brown one for it ? Little ending Q: how does alarm sound ? Asking this, as IMO in several GP alarms it sounds a bit soft, or even "dull" as compared to many JLCs ?? - But maybe just a coincidental bias ?.. My very Best, hs

Alarm sound

is quite crisp and loud if if have the watch in the air. On the wrist less loud. Sound is best described as a cricket. I don't think it is much different from the JLC Memovoxes. Tan strap?, not tried yet
