I posted several times the platinum version of this very interesting chronograph which associates a foudroyante and a rattrapante.

The platinum is a superb version, and certainly my favorite among all the variations, in titanium and white gold.

BUT I never saw the yellow gold in the flesh, till... Padj came with his. Padj is a good friend, with an excellent memory.

When he posted his, he remembered that I wanted to se it in the flesh. I also suspect him to like to see me suffer... wink

Yes, indeed, while I am not a colored gold guy, I must confess that I am pretty convinced by this black dial / yellow gold case combination.

It gives to the watch a lot of character, an appealing contrast and a very pleasant retro touch.Almost vintage looking.

For the good measure, the platinum version, belonging to another good friend, François.

Clearly one of these modern chronographs I would love to own, despite its not so noble movement, a Valjoux 7750, automatic then, reworked by Jaquet, if I am not wrong.

Best,

Nicolas

I may be wrong, but I suspect this Blue GP SF came much before. [nt]
